MagnetoSpeed V3 Chronograph
The MagnetoSpeed V3 ballistic chronograph kit was designed to be used on barrels and suppressors from 1/2 inch all the way up to 2 inches in diameter. In addition to the larger diameter tolerance, the V3 also has one inch more clearance in the blast zone to account for longer (up to 3″ in most cases) muzzle brakes, flash hiders, etc.

What does the V3 model work with?
Highly accurate, portable and easy to use. Works with your rifle, handgun, shotgun or airgun.
All shooting chronographs currently marketed to the general public use optical sensors. The MagnetoSpeed uses electromagnetic sensors (patent pending) to detect the presence of the bullet. These sensors are immune to muzzle blast, allowing them to be located near the muzzle. They are also immune to common lighting problems such as fluorescent lights, low sun and bright sun.
Our unique method determines velocity by sensing the difference in time between a slight disturbance in two magnetic fields as the bullet passes by. This is somewhat similar to the way an electric guitar senses the vibration of its strings to produce amplified tones.
